Keep getting screen that asks me to load the XP Home Edition Full Version into CD rom, but it is already in the CD I have to full XP Disks I purchased 2 years ago, and loaded on two other pcs no longer in use. The both act the same like they are upgrades 1 person needs an answer I do too

Does anyone have any of this info this thirty day pop up thing is getting annoying. The reason I ask is because I originally had Windows XP Home Edition and I got some nasty virus where I re formatted my PC and whatnot but the serial key I originally had doesn't work, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

First this problem started off with being a registry issue, when I restarted my computer it said Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SOFTWARE so I followed the instructions on the microsoft website here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545 and it helped me restore everthing but now when I selected the safe mode to restart...

MY PC in the year 2002 came with windows XP home edition? But it was much slower compared with windows XP professional. Many users switched to win XP prof mostly pyrated version.Pl advice will MS offer win XP professional free of cost or atleast at an offordable price? 1 person needs an answer I do too
