My PC is running extremely slow. Web browsers (mozilla firefox and internet explorer) freeze and sometimes close on their own. Because you recently reverted back to Windows XP from Vista, the automatic updates probably aren't up to date. There is an update at this website, it may help: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909095
