Greetings all. Following my purchase of a Werner F38( see here for pics http://www.benzworld.org/forums/unim...-winch-id.h tml ) I am looking for any pics of this winch mounted to the back of an SBU.Or even better any pictures of the mounts themselves for an SBU.Or any part numbers? Not much to ask really is it? Seriously, much appreciated if anyone can help out.

Started designing the mounts for the hydraulic winch.PYO driven pump with quick disconnects at the front and rear. Winch mounts in a pair of receivers welded to the frame. Receivers on both front and rear. Also took it for a drive to the BBQ place. Yum. I really like this little truck.

I haven't done the front yet, I'm trying not to move the front much, I made yj brackets for the rear of the spring and i'm streching the front of the frame for my winch so I'll just move the shackle mounts forward

I like how he says it has "Front and rear ARB Bull Bars" last I checked, they didn't make rear bull bars (and his rear bumper looks totally homemade), and he uses the hi-lift points on the ARB as tow hook mounts.. A roller fairlead with no winch. Has no dash and guages? Also those rocks in the back I guarantee are WAY heavier than is sane to put back there. Wonder if anything got bent? You do ...

The project is moving along. If anyone is interested in purchasing my entire Unimog world contact me. I have the 78' 406, the winch [15,000LB.] and mounts, a 2 1/2 ton military trailer, an almost new 20 speed transmission out of a Lake Placid unit showing 2500 miles on an engine stand ready to install for a spare, tons of manuals, piles of spare parts, and the custom caged bed holding two spare ...
