So what else could fiber optics do? All it enables is the SS cockpit, which doesn't seem like much. I'm designing a future mod, and because the cockpit will be moved to a later tech, fibre optics does nothing but act as a requirement for later techs... any ideas what it could do instead cos i'm stumped. BTW, sorry if...

Could quite easily code a tech bonus I think, Would probs be best to move Internet to Fiber Optics. I think the big cables running under the sea that connect Europe to America are fiber optic aren't they?

Your browser does not support iframes. They are on Satelitte already and They ARE encrypted. I don't know what Sat they are on but they we're on the Local Cable in The Neth.Antilles when I lived there and they have no fiber optics there so they must be on Satelitte.
