To me, I have always thought it was not ok to punish a child who is potty training for not making it and/or going in their pants. My DD, is 30 mths and I have not once disciplined/punished her for wetting her undies. However...I know a handful of moms IRL who have/do. Is that really something that is done? One friend was working on getting her son (2.5 at the time) trained. ...

Up until about 6 weeks ago, our son had no problem keeping his bed dry through the night. Now he is wetting the bed EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. And not just a little bit, when he wakes up in the morning he and his sheets and blankets are completely soaked. We have tried cutting off water at a certain time, making him go before bed, etc, but nothing seems to matter. We can't understand how he could go ...

Bed wetting My son wets his bed occasionally. I wonder what I should do with the mattress. Is there a special solution other than water and windex to help clean it up? Thanks.

Hi, My DS who is 3.5 years has just started wetting the bed. He came out of nappies at night in February this year and we've had an odd night where he has wet the bed but in the last two months he has wet the bed every other night. (Duvet, sheets and pillow!!!) His routine hasn't changed and we've had no major traumas in our life that could affect him. We always make him have a wee before bed. ...

my 5 year old has recently begin wetting her pants for the last month at school constantly. I have been talking to her constantly. I keep asking her and all I get is "because mommy". I forgot. She has changed a bit since her little brother was born. There is a four year age difference. I make an effort to give her attention as much as I can because I know she has been pushed to the side ...

I have an idea for a waterproof mattress cover for bed-wetting and wanted to throw this idea out here to see what people think. This post is kind of long so bear with me. I first learned about this years ago. I had a friend whose daughter had a bed-wetting problem. She used a plastic sheet to cover the bed,but the plastic was the kind you use as a drop cloth or to cover materials outside....

I cant get my 4 year old to stop wetting the bed at night, I wake her up to go and she still does it... le sigh Im done washing sheets every day. Then on the flip side of the coin I cant get my 3 year old son to start to potty train or use the potty..... So I guess my question is how did you start your boys potty training and how can I stop the bed wetting..

QUESTION: my 6month old boxer is wetting her bedding and sometimes other soft furnishings . she is not yet fully house trained but i think this is making it harder as she doesn't realise she should not wet her bed. ANSWER: At 6 months old- she should have been house trained/broken. Why not? What happened? You begin house training at 3-4 months old. Now you have to begin house ...

Hello, Me and Sandra recently watched the new movie "2012". It seems more and more films are touching on this subject. In this movie the parents are devorced and the kids dad is picking them up for a camping trip in yellowstone. The kids are in the car when the mom gives the dad a cloth bag with a pack of Goodnites in it. The dad who seems a bit shocked says "She still needs these" and...

I am shocked and don't know what to think right now. Hannah woke up an hour early on her own this morning and had wet the bed. She has NEVER done this since she has been potty trained. Im just wondering if this is something I should be concerned about???
