Hello everyone I am a 19 year old male who is looking to drop around 10-15 kilos of fat over the next 3-4 months. I have played sports the majority of my life playing rugby as a prop and grid iron as a centre tackle and I have quite alot of muscle mass however I also have a decent amount of fat. I would say around 20-25% body fat would be a fair estimate till I actually get the exact ...

Well, with bow season getting close I have started thinking of retiring the crossbow if I can. I hurt my shoulder playing baseball a few years ago but the doc recommended resistance training so I figured a compound would be perfect for that! I am probably going to go with the lowest draw weight suitable for deer so what would that be? Now as far as a bow goes, my dad has an OLD PSE that he ...

The basics of Protein Power stay the same for all of us: -- figure out your current lean body mass (and get an accurate starting height and weight for reference) -- determine your daily minimum protein requirement , and make sure you hit that number every day -- control your carb intake : in Phase I, stay under 40 grams/day, no more than 7-10g/...

Hi Folks, Abject newbie here. Sorry to ask possibly redundant questions, but I've been reading here for awhile and can't quite figure some things out. Hoping you seasoned veterans can help me get off to a good start. I'm just getting ready to start PP - tried it a few years ago, but couldn't get my act together. I'd been meaning to get back to it, but... Stumbled on this board a couple of ...

I do all this after i weight train, but im still looking bigger (fatter). I want to look cut and lean but now my ...

I've gained 100 pounds and haven't a clue why...then i'm told i'm IR. Metformin didn't do a thing to help, in fact i gained more weight. I also have MS so exercising alot is very hard for me. Is it true that resistance training is more beneficial for weight loss than cardio if a person has IR??

Therapy for PCOS Lifestyle modification should be the first-line therapy. Seven percent to 10% weight loss is associated with regular ovulatory cycles in many cases. Calorie restriction is more important than dietary composition. Exercise improves insulin sensitivity, and both aerobic and resistance training are beneficial.
