Someone in fact...

Replying to: You can unplug your water heater?  i never knew that, does that make it take longer to heat water once plugged in? Posted by omnie08 We unplug our large one in the bathroom every morning before we leave for work, then when we get home we plug it back in.  The water is hot in about an hour, just in time for bathtimes at our house.  We are going to...

Another thing that sucks up electricity is the hot water heater (if yours is electric). There are timers out there that aren't very expensive, and I am considering investing in one of those.

Gas & Elec

On and off times can be set using the Drayton timer. There should be a room thermostat somewhere in the property to allow you to set the temperature else there's no way to control it (and it'll ...

In 2007 after building the heater the cost was $125. ...and old timers trick is drip-feeding waste-oil into wood stoves for shop use. I wouldn't do it in the home. Too messy, too hard to clean. THere is a fair amount of soot that will settle in your ...
