Can anyone help me to identify the problem cause the above issue ? It is on my W210, wagon 2001. I have read several threads. Some of you suggested to check on the sensor next to the batter under the passenger seat. Other than the YAW sensor, what else may cause the problem. The warning come and goes may be once every 14 days. I do not have Carsoft 7.0 or the expensive star scanner.

What year model again?No you can''t scan it.A good indie shop mb with the proper star machine can,so call around.They will be much less than the dealer.Most of the E320 srs light issues are passenger seat occupancy seat sensor failures.Inspect the wires and diy r/r is on benzworld.org w210 diy section.You remove the seat,part is about 150 bucks,you replace it,etc. ohlord...

Run the seat all the way to the front and then try moving it back. get a 94169 obd2 code scanner from harborfreight tools online or at one near you if located in your area and read the codes post them here or on benzworld.org w210 section.Do not ignore a cel it could lead to a fried cat. srs issue is most likely the passenger seat occupancy sensor,diy r/r on benzworld.org w210 diy section....
