Has there been any word on Verizon offering VZ Navigator to BB users now that they have the Droid that has a free turn by turn built in? Or are they going to continue to screw bb customers by making them pay 9.99 for it? My guess is the latter but just checking.

VZ Navigator Problem with Traffic Colors?

I upgraded my 9530 to 5.0.0.328 recently, and now it seems that the traffic color indicators in VZ Navigator act strangely. I use the Maps/Traffic to watch the traffic in Atlanta during my 70 mile commute, but now, the red/yellow/green traffic colors work only intermittently. For instance, I might start the traffic (at my GPS location) and see a 5 mile stretch of yellow or red traffic, ...

Google Maps is a joke. Anyone here owned the LG Dare or any LG device with VZ Navigator? I like how the app works better than goofle maps by far. Google maps is not accurate at all. It's missing a lot of features, and its driving me nuts. This is what verizon advertised, the turn by turn directions, and the voice search feature. It still sucks. So im paying $30 more for a data plan, an "amazing"...

It's been for quite some time that I've been using VZ Navigator (about 4 years) and often was wondering if I could get another app for one-time payment rather than the monthly $10 subscription. I've read plenty on the Garmin mobile and finally decided to test drive the full version ($99) on my Blackberry Storm2. Obviously, my experience is limited to the storm, but I assume that the app works...

I upgraded my Storm's OS and since then, I've had a little quirk with my VZ Navigator that bugs me. I live in western Connecticut, and when I ask for directions to some towns (not all) near me, Navigator will replace the name of the town with "New York City Metro". It still keeps the state and zip code and it finds the place fine. But why the NYC Metro? Is there a setting I can change ...

Ok this isn't a HUGE deal but it does kinda irritate me. I've searched all around the storm forum/s and have found no mention of this. I've got a 9530 that I updated to(as the topic says) 5.0.0.328(also on verizon obviously). And I love most of the upgrade EXCEPT the weird thing the navigator is doing now(and one other thing). Usually, when I use it... I've got it plugged into my tape adapter ...

I have a Storm 9530 and all of a sudden, the VZ Navigator says "Trip Update Problem. Connection not available. Please try again later." This has been going on for two days now. Any solution?

Anyone know if it's possible to turn on the speaker for the instructions in VZ Navigator? The only problem I've found is having to hold the phone next to my ear to hear the instructions. Otherwise, the limited testing I've done does everything I want it to do. And the photo of my house with my car sitting in front was a bit disconcerting but reassuring when I arrived home.

I used VZNav for a couple of years and loved it. I was skeptical about cancelling but I did and started using GMaps.
