Cliff notes: The RB2 kit (with cymbals and a second Rb or RB2 pedal) is capable of triggering 10 different sounds (snare, 3 toms, ride, crash, foot splash, open hh, closed hh) on your pc. Alternately, you can get 8 different sounds if you opt for a double base configuration. I've only tried an xbox 360 stock RB2drumkit but a ps3 kit will probably work too. Here's basically how it works: You ...

While I still enjoy P5 ( even more than SonarHS6 ), I've found that Fruity Loops offers a very similar pattern workflow approach, interesting VST's, automation envelopes, multi-core support, etc. Forum support is active. It doesn't have the active pattern matrix of P5 though. I'm still playing with both of them as they have unique strengths. The piano roll is better in FL ( native support of ...

woops sorry for the misinformation,,,guess because I never ran up against a limit i didn't think there was one :D sooooo sorry....32 and 64 is waaay more than plenty IMHO!'' Again, sorry for the misinformation! Slightly of topic but: I'm reminded of a quote I read by Jeff Lynne (the guy behind Electric Light Orchestra) whos said, to paraphrase: "...if you can't get it done in 24...

You'd use a "MIDI Out" generator, and point it at the MIDI interface that hooks to your Motif. I've only used them for multitimbral VSTI, but IIRC they were originally meant for hardware. FL7 manual wrote: MIDI Out allows you to control MIDI hardware and or VST plugins with eight pages x nine freely assignable controllers. The MIDI out plugin acts as a MIDI controller sending ...
