I am runnig around 60 tracks of which 10-12 are VST instruments. I have frozen all of the VST instruments. Given the audio

Right well I'm looking to try and improve my selection of VST instruments for working on writing my own music and also for other things. I have had some experience working on Computer game music and have done some odd bits for internet/tv adverts. I usually write using Guitar or Piano and already have a few sample cds which I use and already have a cracking vst drumkit (Superior 2 and ...

Hi people, i am not a Cubase expert (i'm a so-called 'noob', although i'm not sure about how is this word translated in italian), i never went deeply into its features. Moreover, the version i'm using is the poor man's one (SE). I realized to have this problem : i put a V-station instance on a MIDI track, and i wanted to add a bit reverb...But the list of effects for this track differs ...

Hi everyone I was wondering if there is a way of saving and recalling a basic set of VST instruments in Cubase 4. I use a basic set of instruments when I'm working on midi files and every time I want to update an earlier project I have to add all the VST instruments 1 by 1 and it's very time consuming. Is there a way to recall a standard set of 10 instruments into an ...

Seems like threads like "Whats your opinion on vst intrument-x?" has new competition. There's a new website where you can audition/demo lots of romplers and vst-instruments online (altough with compresssed ound quality). Also, while many of us don't have our dedicated DAW's connected to the internet there's supposed to be midi-files to audition by. Just an idea if anybody is curious about the ...

Hi Does anyone know if Sonar 7 will accept MIDI data from virtual instruments (drum machines) such as Steinberg's Groove Agent? Since GA didn't appear as a MIDI input source after loading it, I figured ... no such luck. Thanks in advance, Staggerin' Jim

song by The Pretenders, a jaunty uptempo love ballad that has great everything, except lead riffs! Great punchy rythm/guitar, nice vocals, but plenty of room to catcall the vocals and the few instrumental extras (which are nicely done, just extremely thin on the ground) Grab your vst instruments of choice, and fill in the blanks. I've had three fx plugins chained up to my fake guitar for hours, ...

Cliff notes: The RB2 kit (with cymbals and a second Rb or RB2 pedal) is capable of triggering 10 different sounds (snare, 3 toms, ride, crash, foot splash, open hh, closed hh) on your pc. Alternately, you can get 8 different sounds if you opt for a double base configuration. I've only tried an xbox 360 stock RB2drumkit but a ps3 kit will probably work too. Here's basically how it works: You ...
