So I was parking at my job today, and noticed that the VSC light was on, along with the check engine light. I didn't think much of it, so I turned the car off, then back on. Lights were still on, then the I saw the Message "Check VSC" along with the bright red hazard symbol. I'm a little pissed, cause I barely have any miles on the car, and I don't have anytime to bring it up to the dealer....

I've got a 2002 4 runner sports edition with a v6 engine. I recently installed new OEM front brake rotors and brake pads about 1k miles ago. Any ideas what to look for with these lights coming on at the same time. Could it be a fuse?

I have a 05 ls430 ultra with 22,000 miles. It has been sitting for six months and had to be jump started. When i got it started the gps sceen would not come on and the check engine light and check vsc are on and the car will not go over 20 mph. I disconnected the battery and charge it for several hours. The car starts right up now but those two lights are still on and the CAR will not go over 20...

On my way to work today my VSC, VSC OFF, and the picture of the engine on the far left - guessing thats the CEL light? Can autozone give me the error code for free or something? Havent had a single issue with the car so far! Its a 2003 with 120k. last oil change was 3100 miles ago, full synthetic of course. Thanks

Two days ago lights came on and stayed on. What could be the problem? Checked gas cap. Recent oil change, no hose loose. Can I drive at least a week without causing any damage. Has anyone else had this problem and what was your solution.

i need CL help please!. its been two weeks since the VSC Check light and ABS light comes on and off randomly, goes away after restarting the car. i dont know what could cause this and how to fix it. i feel like i would have to bring it to the dealer and pay them to check it out till if nobody knows what i'm talking about. thanks

this is a common question in the 3GS forum. Check your gas cap. It could be loose. I know us 3GS owners have a problem where the seal around the cap goes bad over time and it causes the VSC and CEL to come on.

I have same problem. I dropped my car to friend's shop and he checked the computer stuff. He told me that I needed to change computer and two oxygen sensors by dealer. He can fix it but he can't program the computer. It might cover by warranty.
