Ok my 99 gs400 lower ball joint broke, luckly my wife was not on the high way, I removed the abs sensor off of the inner rotor so it wouldnt brake when they tow it to the shop (Straus discount). they replaced my lower control arm with ball joint and put the abs sensor back on, but my light is still on, does it reset by it self, can I reset it with my hand held computer, or does the dealer have ...

Hi guys, I apoloize for repeating an old problem after so many threads on the same problem . But i cant seem to remember the solution . After the mechanic changed the brake pads the vsc and the abs lights came on and when I brake it takes a while to slow down. this morning when i started my car the CEL and VSC lights came on and remained on in my 07 highlander. i just got back from a trip last night that was a lil over 100 miles away and had no trouble at all with the car. i checked the gas cap and its on tight. any advice would be greatly appreciated. i don't want to take it to the dealership if i don't have too because i know they will charge a lot ...

i was changing my headlight and fog light hid bulbs and when i was all done i went to go turn on the car and it wont turn on and the brake is very stiff, and on the little screen it says check vsc any ideas what it could be ??

Hey guys. I recently found out that my wife's 20003 ES 300 Lexus has a check engine light. It turns out to be error code p2241 which the advance auto parts sensor said it was O2 bank 2 sensor 1, Positive current, Circuit low. I am not to sure how to go about this. So I was parking at my job today, and noticed that the VSC light was on, along with the check engine light. I didn't think much of it, so I turned the car off, then back on. Lights were still on, then the I saw the Message "Check VSC" along with the bright red hazard symbol. I'm a little pissed, cause I barely have any miles on the car, and I don't have anytime to bring it up to the dealer....

Well. returned the locking gas cap. It threw on the check engine light and vsc light. They reset themselves after a certain amount of start ups. No need for the dealer now.

What were the codes. If you have the numbers please post them. Do you have a "cylinder misfire" on each cylinder. If so it sounds like you may have plugged the fuel injector nozzles. 1st get the codes and then we can go from there. You might want to get some FI cleaner and put a few bottles in the tank. I would use TECHRON FI cleaner and see if this starts to fix the problem. Like I mentioned , ...
