it seems some of you are making a direct connection between octane rating with power increasing ability. Octane is only a measure of a fuels resistance to pre-ignition. 115 octane fuel has no more energy than 87. in fact, 87 is easier to ignite . look it up. if your bike says to use 91, use it, it if says use 87, it was tuned to ...

Should I need to change from local pump fuel to another source, I'll look around for racing fuel. Steve Be aware there are many different flavors of so called racing fuel. Many if not most of these are also leaded just like 100 LL aircraft fuel. Many ...

I was asked to post this by one of our Mopar friends. This is regarding the VP fuel station at the track. Hey Mike, Can you post this on the sites you've been promoting this on? I emailed the VP guy, and this was his response: I will be there then. If you can spead the word, tell the people we have 15 different kinds of VP Racing Fuel (sold by the gallon or per 55 gallon drum) ...

Ok - I contacted the VP fuel rep. With the size of this event, he said he'll plan to be there. Here is the reply he sent me via email: I will be there then. If you can spead the word, tell the people we have 15 different kinds of VP Racing Fuel (sold by the gallon or per 55 gallon drum) including methanol onsite. As well as upper lube, fuel jugs, jug parts, VP shirts, and more. Credit ...

Trust me, I would like to run pump gas. I used to 13 years ago. I thought this new fuel was just terrible for these things. Maybe a mixture of this stuff is best. I will try a mixture of pump and race. Maybe the C12 or 4.2. If you run a mixture, how do you know how much comes out of the can. I know with a pump it's easy. I have found the gallons markings on the side of the plastic ...

Dailydriver- Thanks!! I actually stopped by the race track at kennedale today about 4 pm. Of course i did not know i was going to be in the neighborhood and did not have a jug with me. It was priced at 4.50 a gallon for VP M1. I would rather find the VP M3 but no big deal. Maybe i can find some banana flavored lube to mix in the M1. Thanks for the heads up on Smiley's and i will call them ...

Also posted in Classifieds: '99 Honda CR125 jug and head massively ported for roadracing by Banke Racing back in '04. HPV welded up, built for RS125 piston. Used on a roadracing shifter kart, good power 9500-12000, good overrev to 13000. Used w/PWK39 carb, RLV pipe, stock ignition, VP C14 fuel. .034" squish band on this motor. Don't see any reason it wouldn't make an awesome 125 moto cylinder....
