I would still consider using a cordless phone + adapter, it just gives you more flexibility. I'm sure some of the wireless phones are good, I'm just not sure that 802.11 wireless is a great system for VOIP. Personally I use a Linksys SPA-3102 adapter and Panasonic cordless DECT phone. I have a customer using 2212 wireless phones and configuration cradle. I am trying to add 6140 phones with the Handset administration tool. I have the correct firmware loaded on the 6140 but the phone keeps showing "NO SVP RESPONCE". Can I use the same configuration as the 2212 phones? Do I need to upgrade the 2245 and 2246 and if so how? Thanks in advance, Tim

Which Codec are you using? What phone type do you have plugged in? Does it occur on a wireless handset? Try with an 'old' corded telephone. Have you adjusted the volume on the line in the modem? Is it every outgoing call or intermittent? Does it occur if you use a softphone? Do you have QOS set up correctly?
