I really think VIZIO is making smart choices with their new releases. I think the copper color bezel is interesting and a cool addition to flatscreen options and who can go wrong with more 1080p options? I tend to watch tv much too close and I know my smaller den is in need of a good tv, so here comes Christmas. Just saw the December Consumer Reports that gave good reviews too. I have the ...

Settings for Clock, S-Video Input, TV Aspect, Progressive Scan, Disc Audio, and HDMI or DVI Setting Your Clock... 3575/3576 vs 2160... They're Different! For initial setup with any unit, I recommend you set the clock manually using the 1st option in the Clock > Clock Setting menu, then do an Auto Channel Preset thru the Channel menu. This order is best cuz the default clock ...

Unfortunately, from what I can tell there are very few LCD/Plasma TVs that have this feature today. Vizio looks like it has the best PIP/POP functionality from what I have been able to test myself, but Sony does offer the P&P on everything but their lowest line. I highly doubt the P&P will work with 2 HDMI inputs though. Samsung's current PIP is worthless (must use analog antenna input), but ...

The TV does everything it needs to has a great picture "for the price". While you could spend more to get a better TV it will have to be a couple $100 more to get better quality. I would personally not recommend ...

Someone recently posted that he solved some similar pic issues by switching to DVI setting on his TV, which I incorporated in a help file for Philips/Mag users. Here's that section on DVI that may or may not mean anything to your situation or equipment, but at least it's free... the key in this is the "DVI connection and/or settings" cuz DVI eliminates overscan and does a 1:1 pixel ...

I've been noticing a lot of places clearing out their older 720p models of TV. For example, I've seen multiple places, online and retail, closing out various name-brand 52" 720p plasmas for around $800. Similar TVs with 1080p are around $500 more. Is the discount worth being limited to 720p? My current TV is a Hitachi 46" RPCRT 1080i. Upstairs in the bedroom I have a 32" Vizio 720p LCD, ...
