Geoff, My deepest sympathies. My mother passed away from a rare form of ALS this summer, so I know all too well the road ahead. A few good websites that were helpful to me: patientslikeme.com (a great ALS community for patients and caregivers). The mda.org has a section for people with ALS, and was very helpful to me.
