I see this mentioned on here quite a bit (and in other places). One of the related comments is that Ophiucus isn't a sign because astrology is using outdated information. The next equinox is due September 22nd at 15: 44 Universal time. In the Northern Hemisphere, it is called the fall (or autumnal) equinox, and in the Southern Hemisphere, is is the spring (or vernal) equinox.
