Auto-update finally had the sp1 update available for a 32 vista home premium installation. (gateway with a sigmatel sound card). Went through the update with 2 driver errors. One of the driver errors was the verizon vcast music manager driver. (It allows you to download songs to your verizon phone, in this case an lg env). The program runs, but can't play any music files...
