Question My mother underwent vascular surgery on Aug 10 2006 in India. She had a blood clot in her iota which was removed, however it took her months to recover and is still recovering from neuropathic pains. The good thing is after vigorous physiotherapy sessions she is able to walk again and do her daily jobs , however her left leg from the portion below her calf to her foot is paralysed and...

integrated vascular surgery residency SDN Members don't see this ad. Does anyone know if any new integrated programs are going to be starting in the next couple of years or if any midlevel positions will be opening up in the next two years?

Hey guys, I am a med surg nurse from Canada. I started my career as a medic and moved on to become a Registered Nurse. I am currently working as a floor nurse on a General surgery, Vascular surgery and Urology Unit, and I love it! It is extremely busy, and short staffed (as most places are) but it is such a great place to be! I look forward to exploring this site!!!!

I posted about my Ernie undergoing vascular surgery last Thursday-asking for your prayers. I apologize for not getting back to you-it has been hectic. Have been at the VA every day until today-my body just shut down I guess. When I spoke to him today he said the Dr will release him this Wednesday.
