This is a problem I have had for years and is getting progressively worse. Doctors including podiatrist and vascular surgeon are stumped. I have been given guesses of Raynaud, blue toe syndrome, infection (antibiotics sometimes help, sometimes not), and other things, but nothing seems to quite match my symptoms. It usually astarts when the weather starts getting colder and ...

I had a DVT that ran from my abdomen to my ankle. My vascular surgeon wanted me to walk, walk, walk. It was excruciating and I could hardly make it to the bathroom (had to use a walker), but he wanted me to keep moving as much as possible - at least every hour.

I must point out that many patients that post here have an unlikely diagnosis and you might be one of them. I think you should be examined by a good vascular surgeon to at least rule it out. I must though warn you that there are still some doctors out there that consider symptoms like yours and the diagnosis of pelvic congestion syndrome as typical for women with "hysterical predisposition" even ...

Question Hello, This will be complicated but I will do my best to try to explain it clearly. For 6 years, I have had something, which could be more than one thing, under my skin that I used to call lumps and they hurt very badly. Now that they have migrated symmetrically from my trunk and up to the top of my skull, I feel that some of them may be blood vessels? Some are just huge lumps, ...

I posted about my Ernie undergoing vascular surgery last Thursday-asking for your prayers. I apologize for not getting back to you-it has been hectic. The surgery on the artery in his right leg, took over 3 hours. The surgeon said Ernie lost alot of...

On July 7, 2008 I went to the emergency room having experienced severe jaw pain and shortness of breath. It turned out that I had considerable blockage in my heart and corratted artery. I underwent a triple bypass and surgery on the corratted artery. It was determined that I have congenital heart disease. I also had a lot of blockage in my legs. The vascular surgeon cleaned out the ...

Question QUESTION: Hi, I have a male rat who will be 2 years old in either jan or feb 2009. He grew a large tumor on his chest which I had removed a few months ago. (he is neutered). It has grown back but this time it feels really hard, different from the tumors on my other rats. It's still pretty small (about the size of a dime, only spherical, of course) so I want to get it removed before it...

Hi. I was wondering if anyone here with FM has issues with tinnitus? I have, in my right ear, a pulsing, swooshing sound that at times beats in sync with my heart. I have had it many years. But, lately its gotten so bad its driving me mad. I just went to an ENT Head/Neck Surgeon who informed me that this kind of tinnitus can be due to vascular problems within the head, ear, neck. Or blood ...
