just stop. Really, they're all ridiculous comparisons. Just take this series for what it is. Yes Interview With The Vampire was a superior movie, but was also written by a superior author so to compare the two is ridiculous. Also, comparing this movie to the Harry Potter movies is BEYOND me. I don't think it happens as much anymore but it always bothered me. The comparison between ...

I don't know whether it's my all-time favourite, but I have a great fondness for Shadow of the Vampire (2000), with John Malkovich and Willem Dafoe. It's a vampire movie about making a vampire movie (Nosferatu), and has elements of black comedy, but is also spooky and sinister, and hints at a real-life mystery - namely, who was Max Schreck who played the lead in the original Nosferatu? Dafoe's ...

i agree with pls, try to post the same survey across various vampire movie boards, just to make sure you've covered enough ground. 23 myself, I prefer the oldies, like Nosferatu with Max Shreck, and Dracula with Lugosi, but I like Blade 1 & 2 as well as Coppolla's Dracula. Nosferatu beacuse it has the most terrifying protagonist in any vampire movie, and the mere thought of meeting Shreck ...
