You may want to check some other threads. I do know that almost no aftermarket throw-over saddlebags work well on an stock "R", mostly because the stock pillion is pretty much just a thin layer of vinyl, with no padding. If the passenger pillion on your bike has any sort of padding, it should fit fine.

I used to ride with the Angels. Yup, for about five minutes! I was heading up the PCH in 1975, 18 years old and rocking a Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo with a white Windjammer fairing and a Minnesota license plate. A group of about a dozen Hell's Angles caught me from behind and surrounded me as we rode. They were all in full colors back then. I was scared, but held my line. After a few miles ...

Tour Rider Sport Saddlebags. (Black in color.) These lightweight bags can serve as either throw over saddlebags or used as liners in hard case for touring models. (Fit perfectly inside my ST1100 side cases.) They feature handles and 2-way zippers , like conventional luggage. All material, zippers, straps and clasps function as new. Absolutely no tears, rips or wear. I'll even throw in some hand...

Yeah the supports are slanted with the slant along the edge of the rear shock. I cut some of the pleather away to tighten the bags up (which also helped create some distance between the bottom of the bag and the exhaust) then poked new holes to tie the bags together under the seat. Then used zip ties to attach to the support brackets. They seem top be pretty good now and look pretty good on the ...

While far from an expert, I have ridden Baja off road/on road. Most people there are just great, simple, kind, quiet, an helping. The food, scenery, weather are all highly above average. That said, if something were to happen, like a simple thing like a bike falling over on your leg, to running out of fuel in a remote area [there are MANY], to a person or persons taking offence to you being there...

2001 Polaris Sportsman HO 500 4x4 & trailer. Located in Cumming GA. Selling it for my dad. He sold his house and doesn't have a need for it. The only thing he used it for was driving around his property picking up tree limbs and moving dirt and rocks in the trailer. He treats everything he has like it is his baby. Never abused or ridden hard since he bought it used three or four years ago. ...

Hi everyone, I have a 96 Adventurer and want to make it a little more visible while riding in LA traffic. Thinking about a light bar or running lights of some kind. Also a new horn, saddlebags and a windshield might be important. Any good or bad experiences with these items on a triple? How difficult are they to install and have you used any that worked well with our bikes? I appreciate ...
