From what I understand, there's more to the story than just what appears on the surface. It is lawful to use deadly force in the defense of a life (especially in your own home) unless there is another crime in progress in which you are a part of (i.e., a drug deal gone bad). Then, it wouldn't matter where you are. Manslaughter would be the minimum charge, most likely. We should wait and see ...
