The idea is to install USB 3G / HSDPA modem on a dreambox 7xx+ in order to get internet acess on your Dream. Anyone tried that is possible at all, if so how to do that? (modem linux drivers are available)  |

These little silly huawei modems should work with later kernels without much hassle. You should be able to connect using it just configuring your dialer with the correct information, just like any regular modem. However it might be a bit tricky on some distros/kernels to get it running. Knowing the distribution of linux that you use or plan to use will allow us to give you better advice. If ... |

Hi Morkhans. Yes, Agreed, Syrinx sell the Draytek only as part of its Corporate APN solutions. U can get the Draytek directly from www.Draytek.co.za (Network Platforms is the distributor - I am sure they are cheaper). |
