I sent an email to a couple of Senators and I got a response back from a few of them: Rob Mayer: Dear Miss Jackson, Thanks for your email on SB 784. The legislative session ended in May and does not begin until January 7, 2009. This bill was sponsored by Senator Coleman who has been term limited and will not be returning in January, so I dont know if the bill will be introduced again. ...

The Pentagons plan to spend $50 million to buy parts for four more F-22s should be enough to keep the stealth fighter program going until March, a Defense Department official said Nov. 13. But the chairman of the House Armed Services air and land forces subcommittee said thats not good enough. Congress approved spending $140 million on parts for 20 F-22s, and thats what the Pentagon...
