Hi All, We just want to get the word out that we have a 1984 Unimog U1300L DoKa ex-fire truck for sale with fast axles and a turbo-charged motor. The top speed is 70 mph. We have done a lot of work to vehicle since buying it. We modified the front bumper and added a front PTO and Werner winch. We modified the running boards to make them less bulky and add more ground clearance. Since this was ...

This is a true 4x4 Expedition vehicle. Plans were to use it for a Tow truck auto hauler flat bed. Mercedes Benz Cab and chassis are still in dry condition. It is the coachbuilt body add on that is just rusted junk. The truck starts right up at the push of a button. Smokes, like all diesels. Once the turbo on this OM352 is spinning, you can tell it will pull this truck down the ...

Hello All, I'm new to the forum but I wanted to get some fellow Mogger's opinions on a custom fabricated rear bumper/flatbed that we're making. It it constructed out of 1/4 steel, has a hidden 24"x48" Tuffy slide out storage box, removable fold down center section to allow access to the Tuffy drawer, and doubles as a staircase into the bed. The center section is also fully removable via two ...

It's called "torsion free". What's the downside of using an existing H frame compared to the classic unimog three point? added: To be clear I'm talking about the unimog made H frame. Not a custom built H frame.

Hellgeth has updated their website after many years. Some nice UNIMOG work. These wheels are interesting, but there is a bunch of stuff to look at. Big glass moonroof, 303 H.P. out of a OM366LA, etc etc. Unimog | Hellgeth Once you get a photo open, the is a hidden L/R arrow to navigate, within the photo.

At the recommendation of a former member of a baord that shall not be named, I've decided that you guys are a bit more my speed in terms of unimog ownership. Something to do with not trying to carve up perfectly good trucks to build franken-buggies. So the story goes a bit like this; local to me is a 1965 404.115 that appears to have lived a decent life before coming to america ...
