So I'm towing a 5'x10' u-haul trailer on Wednesday. I had the dealer install the wiring and hitch when I bought the car but I'll probably need some other things to attach the trailer. Anyone got any ideas?

I have 1996 Grand Caravan ES that has a wobble in low speeds. It feels like a tire problem but I put 4 new tires on. I put left side axle worked for a while untill I towed a Uhaul trailer. The axles I put on were reman. Someone told me these Caravan ...

Anyone had any experience with these or towing with their X3? I just ordered the OEM trailer hitch and my indy will be installing it. I will mostly use it for a bike rack, but I will occasionally be towing small trailers and possibly a small Uhaul trailer when we move my M-I-L out to Indiana. Anyone taken an X3/trailer combo on any non-paved terrain? Cheers, D

QUOTE (beny @ Nov 17 2008 - 12:21 PM) do the UHaul hitches also fit the 450? I don't think there was a frame change between the 450 and 451? No completely different rear framing. Hitch for the 450 costs 2-3x the 451 hitch price.

Im looking at a trip to the gap next summer. I was wondering how some of you haul a bike long distance. I was looking at a covered 6x12 foot u haul trailer for 2-3 bikes but needed to know if its even possible to haul a bike in one. I'll drop by a u haul place sometime soon to check em out, just figured I would ask first. Are there any other good places to rent from that can haul a bike or 3...

Trailer Hitch wiring  - 1 new post Read thread in new window

I have a 2004 X5. I installed an aftermarket trailer hitch at UHaul. Since the installation the dash display indicates "check brake lights" when I step on the brakes. My local BMW dealer has told me that in order to solve the problem I must install a BMW wiring harness at a cost of $1,000.00 +. Does anyone have any advice on this? Thanks
