He's beat Rich Franklin decisively twice, beat Hendo by submission, and frankly didn't even take his match with Cote seriously. So what do you do with this guy? Answer: either have some top notch welter weights move up a weight class to challenge him or force him to keep fighting ...

Quote (MerleHaggard @ Mon, Nov 17 2008, 10:53pm) Nah, it could work, they don't need to have a womens event every single UFC. They could add a few womens fights every second or third UFC. There isn't enough UFC-worthy talent and most big names don't fight in the same weight class. Quote (Hellskin @ Mon, Nov 17 2008, 10:43pm) but it doesnt come close to what the men do. like ...

So, we all know Fedor is the WAMMA heavyweight champ. Fedor is deserving of being a champ as the consesus best fighter let alone heavyweight in the world, and if someone beats him they will deserve that honor as well... but do you ever see WAMMA ever being able to crown a fighter in any other division as the WAMMA champ. The UFC has the rest of the market cornered with the top 2-3 for sure...

Many people think of Genki as a medicore fighter with a extravagant entrances and unorthodox fighting style, or maybe a fighter who beat butterbean in spite of the weight differences. When people bring up Genki to argue that Kid have fought some elite competitioin, they just scoff at the idea. I scoff ...
