A few years ago I was on a two lane road in the country. I came across a terachulla trying to cross. I stopped to check it out. I couldn't think of anything to do to it other than piss on it. These things are fast when trying to avoid the golden shower. Question. Is it illegal to piss on a two lane road?

Here's the scenario - I drive 22 miles of back-country farm road to work every day. Other traffic includes commuters like me, farm tractors, some with implements, some without, semis loaded with produce, and farm laborers who may not want to draw attention to themselves. Occasionally there are just plain slow people who have nowhere to go, and nothing to do when they get there. Here's the ...

Energy Gustav Rides Louisana's Energy Highway William Pentland 09.01.08, 3:05 PM ET The good news is that Hurricane Gustav slowed, levies held, and, with any luck, New Orleans won't get drowned again. The bad news: Gustav made landfall at 10:30 a.m. local time at Cocodrie, La., near a narrow, two-lane road called Louisiana Highway 1, about 50 miles south of New Orleans. ...

I needed to visit family in Billings, so I took the week off and took the motorcycle. I have the benefit of a brother who lives in Casper, so I made an easy 2-day route each way that took in different sites each direction. As I grew up in Wyoming I'd been over most of the roads many times, but of my motorcycle trips there the last decade or so, there was much less traffic on all the roads this...

Labor day weekend. Saturday morning about 10-10:30 on the Belt Parkway. I'm on my out to PA to meet with my girlfriend to attend a family bbq. I was cruising the entire way without much trouble but did notice an abnormal amount of police activity on the road. I kinda figured as much. Big holiday weekend, lots of cars, plus it's the end of the month (whatever that means) So I'm ...

My brother’s been using my car for the past few months. He was driving home today when he got into an accident. He was turning left onto a main road when some douchebag coming down the hill t-boned him at 65mph (the speed limit is 50). Wayne was almost completely in his lane when he was hit, so the guy can’t say he didn’t see him. There are also yellow caution lights telling cars to slow down. He...

What are roads in Malaysia used for? Written by a foreigner residing here. A funny read, humurous but a bit lengthy David Astley, an British/Ozzie guy!! now living in KL Since arriving in Malaysia in 1997, I have tried on many occasions to buy a copy of the Malaysian road rules, but have come to the conclusion that no such publication exists (or if it does, it has ...

I took the car out for a run today Dax had an open day and so we went back to her birthplace even although some rain had been predicted. Well the day was not too bad and I left for home after causing a stir amounst the Seven and Cobra crowd as most were newbies and did not know Dax had made a GT40 in the past. Anyway on the way home the heavens opened - even a bit of hail so not ...

Flustered about the lack of Labor Day weekend plans, I planned a last minute camping trip up to Northern California. We ended up going to Sinkyone Wilderness State Park, a good 12 hour drive up north from the Los Angeles area. Descriptions mentioned a good length of steep, unpaved, potholed, single lane road that eventually lead to the camping area so we rented a dodge ram pickup from the local ...
