Well Im a little different, I spent most of my life working on trucks and just a few years driving back in the early 70s. I retired from working on trucks a while back and decided I didnt really want to retire, no family around, wanted to see the country but also do something constructive. I had my CDL since the 70s but no real experience since then so I went through the truck school for the ...

If you are an owner operator, as you claim, it applies directly to you...It outlines everything that you can deduct. I feel badly for your employees, seeing as they are out of a job. On the other hand, i don't feel slightly bad for you. By not filing your taxes properly and not deducting all your allowable expenses, you ran your business into the ground. Well, sort of. I work (as a firefighter) in Baltimore, MD, but live in a small town near York, PA. One thing I've noticed during my commute over the last 3 years is all the trucks coming out of the Port of Baltimore heading up I-83. I'm also in desperate need of a second relatively decent paying job. I'm thinking I'd like to get into trucking, at least on a part-time basis right now ...
