The Captain wrote: Mirror's Edge is going for a pretty punishing and often trial-and-error approach that not everyone is going to get or like - but at least it is a deliberate design decision. I don't think it is. The original ME demo had a voice over saying how "it's all about the flow", this to me is what ME is trying to tap into, that feeling you get of flowing movement, of momentum ...

Hi, I'm trying to make some simple modifications to an application built using CAB (Composite UI Architecture Block). I have a very high level understanding of this architecture from digging into it a little bit months ago when I was first introduced to this project. One screen of the application has a TabControl which is part of a parent SmartPart UserControl and already has ...

Hi Stew, I'm also very sorry you had to join this group and deal with this disease. I' m 33 and was recently diagnosed with PsA myself after years of gradually increasing pain. I didn't have the quick onset like you and haven't been to the point of a wheelchair but it was close for me. I started on Humira last month (two injections so far) and I am SOOOOO much better. It isn't 100% for me and...

Replying to: BP untreated 15 yrs, too late now?? Hi Selainepar: Many, many people learn about their disorders, try a few things then give up because of side effects from their medication or just feel that treatment isn't working for them. They quit for many years until things become so bad that they have to consider something. Unfortunately finding the right medication is a trial and ...

Thanks to all who have offered guidance on this matter. A crop sensor camera (30D) was what was sold to enable the purchase of the 5D, so I guess that qualifies for a Homer Simpson response - D'Oh! I have a very solid Manfrotto tripod and ring flash (MR 14EX) but have not tried the stacking approach that some have mentioned. Trial and error may be the best learning curve here. As there are ...

So I decided to put this together because its that time of the year where many of us feel the need to take a mileage run to hit that magical level of miles where well re-up our status or perhaps even achieve status for the first time. I know theres other How to Make a Mileage Run threads out there, but this is going to be a barebones introduction to what Ive determined to be the easiest ...

Hi I've been reading the manuals for Logic and it's a bit curious. On the one hand, they seem very clear; on the other hand they often leave me feeling as if they haven't told me anything at all (so probably written by a politician). My needs are relatively modest: I'm recording just acoustic guitar and vocal. I've managed to figure out a lot myself, but I feel I'm wasting a...
