Tremec Bellhousing Do all tremecs use the same bellhousing to bolt to the back of 5.0. If not, what models use the same bellhousing as a 3550. Thanks Scott

If you are going to use the Srod bellhousing with a Tremec TKO (not the 500 or 600 but the older TKO) which clutch fork should you use and which pivot ball? The clutch is a RAM HD kit which included the pressure plate, clutch plate, and throw out bearing. The clutch fork that I have is the 1" longer Ford unit as the previous setup was the same but a Lakewood scatter shield was used. The car ...

Hello, Looking for a used Tremec 3550 with bellhousing to mount into a 1990 GT with a 302. I'd like it with a pro 5.0 shifter. Do not need clutch or flywheel, but I do need the clutch fork. let me know if you have this combo and want to sell, or if you have something similar. Located in SOCAL, will pay for shipping from anywhere in the lower 48. Nick TRE

Tremec Aluminum Bellhousing for mounting a Tremec 3550, TKO, TKO 500, or TKO 600 to a modular motor. Came out of my friend's 99 GT with 5.4/TKO 600 setup, only removed because he swapped to an auto. No cracks. Has a starter bolt broken off in it, but has a good bit sticking out, shouldnt be too hard to extract. Costs around $400 new, save big here. $160 SHIPPED

The mounting pattern for a Mustang T5 is the same regardless who built it, Borg Warner sold the T5 design to Tremec so thats why there are 2 different names associated with the manufacture of the T5.

That sounds like a really good way to do it but I don't have an extra input shaft for a Tremec TKO so that puts a damper on this method for me. Any other suggestions? Darren
