We're in search of a fun day/night out with the family to find a Christmas tree. Hot chocolate, good atmosphere, not selling everything under the sun. You know? Any suggestions? We live in AA County but will travel to Balt/Howard/Carroll.

Looking for a good and inexpensive Christmas tree farm in Macomb, Oakland, or Lapeer Counties. Seen the places that want to charge you $70 for a basic tree Just hoping someone knows of a good place! Thanks!

It's probably a trek for you, but I really like Chapel Hill Nursery in Perry Hall. Definitely a "destination" because they have animals you can walk around & see & feed, & a beautiful koi pond. There is a snowball stand in the summer & hopefully they're smart enough to sell hot chocolate in the winter too! They actually don't 'sell' anything other than plants & such.
