Either get the E revo or the Emaxx . If you really want to go insane get the new E revo brushless . it has the mamba monster max brushless in it and then it also comes with traxxas new 2.4 ghz radio. Before anyone says traxxas doesnt have a traxxas 2.4ghz go to the website and look it was released at the Ihobby expo and it is just like the losi 2.4ghz very plain. but costly to buy just ...

quote: Yeah I realized what he meant...but I was saying I highly doubt we will ever see an electric 4wd slash because in Traxxas's mind, they have made a 4wd slash. it's the slayer. The Slayer is built on the Revo chassis. So it would only figure that with some different wheels and body Traxxas could easily pop out an electric 4wd Slash on the E Revo chassis. They already have the ...

quote: ORIGINAL: osnitro Go with Traxxas for sure! I have been in the RC world for over 10 years and one truck has been with me for 6 years T-MAXX ! Many trucks have come and gone but the MAXX is the best. I still run my original TRX-15 engine with more than 3 gallons thru it. Just my 2 cents! And yes you can still get parts for it at just about any LHS or online shop ...

quote: ORIGINAL: dewberryb The LHS that I would buy a lot of my parts from was a big traxxas dealer. The guy that worked there was a big REVO guru! He hooked me up with the shims. All they are is real thin washers. I am running the RD diff cups and Robison steel spur and pinion gears. I had to use shims. There was a lot of play in the mesh! So how many shims did you use? ...

Hello All, This is my first time posting in the models forum and I'm afraid its driven by my own greed to find out as much info as i can about buying my first RC Nitro. The model that has taken hold of my heart is the Traxxas Revo 5308 (which from what I can find out is the newer version of the 5309). I have a couple of questions that I would like to ask and would be extremely grateful for ...

Don't know if anyone here would be interested in these, but they would make great gifts for the kids for Christmas. They're a lot of fun to mess around with. The Revo runs about 45 mph and has a 2 speed transmission. It has a brand new F650 body that has not even been painted. A little cleaning and the new body and this thing would be like new. The Thundercat has a stripped ...

yes back on topic. so it was a mini slash? gah So if I get a mini-revo someone better make parts to convert it into a mini slayer Trying to turn my rc18R into a true(truer) to scale rally car, but a slayer/slash is probably more cost effective to get that realistic rally style performance. Gotta love realistic body roll (in...

there the same size they just call the slayer a 1/10 size, well the revo is called a 1/10 scale, but they have the same size put next to each other... the slayer parts will be cheaper and probably hold up better (traxxas basher) (assoc. racer.. more agile)
