No one's gonna defend Lucky Star ? Then I will - if you can get past the extremely cute and colorful character designs (which might drive you crazy or might not bother you at all) it's pretty good. Take Seinfeld, but instead of a group of 30-something-old Jews from New York it's about a group of Japanese high-school girls. Despite how it looks it's neither particularly saccarine nor goofy....

i'm nearing the end of revolutionary girl utena again def a guilty pleasure i never get sick of the transformation sequences all this dark/surreal/self-reflexive shit at the end is probably not that great objectively but it seems important due to having spent so much time with these stories/characters already _________________

It would be nice if the anime were to be licensed... I've seen a few episodes and I think its really cute and the effects for the spells and the transformation sequences to turn into witches is actually pretty to look at for a standard magical girl genre.

Hi Daniel, Checking if you got a chance to look into this further. In the meantime, I stripped down the complexity even further by normalizing the rows. Note the database I am working with does not have auto increment and the PK fields are string and not integer. That forces me to create my own Primary keys by using another table to create "sequences". Since the rows seem to be getting ...
