Congratulations Zara!! You looked awesome! It was also pretty neat to see your 3-week and 8-week out photos. I have done a figure competition, so know what kind of dedication it takes to lose the off-season weight (I'm sporting that right now and am not enjoying it). I'm 63 and been shooting since I was 12 years old or so. I still do handgun training and competition using .45 ammo and .357 and I don't mind the recoil. I do have arthritis in the hands and that means some handgun manipulation bothers me a bit although I can still do it. I have recently added two new revolvers to my lineup.
