I layered my clothing in anticipation of a cold ride. Then, as I ventured outdoors to get the newspaper, I changed my mind. It looked to be a warm day. So, I wore a tee and my Kings jacket. After a pre-inspection of my Boulevard, I was eager to put some wind in my face and to cool down a bit. I throttled easily out of the alleyway and onto the side streets of my neighborhood. Chugging ...

First and foremost, glad to hear that you are ok and will recover to ride again. That is the most important factor. Its also good news to hear the scoot seems to have not suffered too much damage. My guess on the cage is more than likely someone who knew cops would probably show up and had reason to not be around cops. What they did was deplorable and to not even stop and offer to call someone ...

Very nice images. Brought back some memories. We lived in Northern Virginia, about 6 miles outside of Washington, for almost 40 years, before retiring to western North Carolina. Sometimes I miss the great museums and other things there, but I sure do NOT miss the infamous Washington "rush hour" traffic! (Do you ever wonder why they call it "rush hour" when nobody is rushing anywhere?)...

He hadn't had as much to drink as they had, judging from the nearly empty whiskey bottles, and he really wanted to go back to his room and get a quick shower. He got off the bed as gently as possible, although not ...

Hello Pam, On the opposite side of I-81 in northern Virginia is VA 42, paralleling I-81 from about Woodstock to Staunton, through the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Beyond Staunton, VA 42 jogs somewhat farther and a couple of large ridge lines away from I-81, but ultimately comes back very close to I-81 at Saltville. The stretch between Woodstock and Staunton is one of the prettiest ...
