Is it possible to create a site-to-site tunnel with a Cisco ASA using IPSec policies? I have set everything up on my XP machine for a pre-shared key tunnel for specific IP addresses. I have also double checked all of the IKE and IPSec encryption/integrity offers. However, nothing seems to work. Furthermore, I cannot even see my computer attempt to set up the tunnel on a ...

Hiya. Yes the internally assigned IP addresses will be different to the Default Gateway, that is how it works. The D/Gateway is the base number of the router, each PC/Laptop is then assigned an IP address from that number, anywhere from 2 - 255. You may get variations of say PC at 2 and Laptop at 6, but so long as the prefix address is the same on all PC's, etc and corresponds with the DG ...

Impact: help to find the better depth of trace We decided to arbitrary define the depth of function return trace as "20". Perhaps this is not enough. To help finding an optimal depth, we measure now the overrun: the number of functions that have been missed for the current thread. By default this is not displayed, we have to do set a particular flag on the return tracer: echo overrun > /...

I've tried to remove these already, still problems. Yesterday, I had a new situation: when booting my computer, not 1, but 3 "doesn't work anymore" errors occured. I restarted my computer and no problems again until I wanted to shutdown the computer. When I clicked the shutdown button, a new BSOD occured: Code: Microsoft (R) Windows Debugger Version 6.9.0003.113 X86 Copyright (c) ...

Once the peripheral problem (see other post) is removed as a reason for your problem (earthing is properly connected to a common ground electrode and protectors removed everywhere from the cable), then we move on to solving the problem using facts rather than speculation. For example, do you have multiple computers on the same router? Then setup a task so that both ping each other ...

I had to really dig to find the article but it still exists out there. The USA media wouldn't touch it, but Israeli newspaper covered it and the conference. After the article was printed, people here on these boards marveled at how easy it is to make a phony letterhead of some law enforcement agency and simply fax it to eBay for the personal records of your competition... Or someone you want...
