So, I posted on Monday night about how I went to L&D and then they sent me home. I went to sleep at about 1 am and then wouldn't you know it, at 2 am my water broke! Boy did it break! It's a good thing I had 2 comforters down for extra padding because it completely soaked through before DH got up and got a towel and I hurried to the bathroom. And the contractions came on ...

It's taken me 2 weeks to get time to write my birthing story... I had my birth plan all written, I knew I wanted to use the hypnobirthing techniques I'd learnt from using natal hypnotheraphy CDs (highly recommended), followed by my tens machine, with gas and air whilst in the birthing pool... all that went out of the window when my waters broke sometime over night on the Thursday, I woke ...

So a new MW comes in while the current one is making sure the synto drip is working properly and found that the epi flow had stopped. The MW’s couldn’t figure it out so the anaesthetist came back in and fixed the bung which had somehow become closed tight. So, it seemed to be working again....

So here is the sad and miserable tale of my poor C. crawshayi, and at the end I need a bit of advice. I work at a pet store, Preuss Pets in Lansing, MI. Most of our Ts are captive bred spiderlings, but we do still get in certain wild caught staples. Mostly they are to feed the seemingly insatiable call for cheap, big wc Rosies, but we do occasionally get in a big blondi or crawshayi. This ...

I am just planning ahead in case I need a c/s with this baby. We are hoping to have another homebirth but so far baby is breech at 34+ weeks. I don't think I will attempt a breech birth as the rate in Canada is less than 5%- and the experience of the OB is critical in a safe breech birth, can't get much experience with

As we sat there on the sofa, he offered me some chips to eat and that’s when I realized how hungry I was. I readily accepted it and finished off the plate of chips within no time. He ate a little, giving me company. We silently watched the TV for a few minutes. He was turning away from the screen and was looking at my face every now and then. “This is the time. Go for it.” He thought. “Madam; it...
