Hi, just want to know if there are some updated information on this. I have a touch panel that works except i can't calibrate it. so the mouse pointer is 1 inch on the left from the pen. I downloaded xcode and start looking into the Hid Manager to see if it possible to just modify the x and y values for the hid device. I think it should be possible to make a generic touch hid ...

Yes, there has been some progress... the basic PDA functions are available: X runs, touchscreen works making it possible to run GPE on it: Here's a link to a recent build which works reasonably well. I am in awe of this thing. With that out of the way.... Purchased an Archos 5 250GB, didn't purchase any of the accessories (yet). But since this is my first touchscreen device I bought some HP styluses to get accostomed to using the interface. Does anyone know if there is any company makes a touch screen or panel that you can customize? i have wired my mustang to regular switches and buttons that i use for starting the car and other various things. Is there a product out there that i could replace switches with a touch screen?
