Haven't been there for awhile but last time I went, had my partner wait for me for at least 3 hours! as I had it chemically straightened cut and styled, my partner looked dead pleased as his wait was finally over...although his expression changed and the colour drained out of his face when I told him it cost £250!!

I know someone that knows him and he isn't really into it, its just and idea that he come up with to make money!! He used to be really overweight and a makeup artist associated with Toni & Guy hairdressers, he lost weight not with the diet he claims but becuase of another method......

generally toni & guy salons are pretty good and i find their stylists give good advice. or alternatively before you go in for the plunge most high-end salons will give you a consult before you decide to cut so you could ask the stylist what they would recommend and if you like what you hear you can go ahead.

Toni and Guy do their trainee night on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday but I can't remember which! I think its abit more than a fiver though!

I've never heard a good word about VS either, including from a few of my mates who are hairdressers. I was in Toni & Guy's recently, and they were pretty good. Even got a glass of wine I've not seen him in years, but Alan Edwards is/(was) always a good shout as well. Think they moved premeses a few years ago though. I believe they are now in Merchant city, near Peckams, somewhere...
