Hi ladies, I am very new to the daycare business. I have a 21 month old and I watch another little boy who is 23 months for 20 hours a week. I am looking for some new and entertaining activities for toddlers. My son loves to read, but the other will not sit and listen to a book. They are not yet old enought to really color and they make too much of a mess with play-do. I...

What other activities do you do with them? Try arts-and-crafts with them. That's usually a hit with kids. Good luck! Leanna

With this in mind I created a (100% free) website for people to use to share fun activities for infants and toddlers with one another. I invite anyone who is interested to...

I live in MN so I know about the cold and yucky long winters here. We actually spend a decent amount of time at the mall. They have a great play area and my DD just loves to run around the mall. We don't go into stores all the time but it lets her run and get out some energy., You can also look into some of the classes liek My Gym or whatever you have in your area. We do bundle up and go ...

My name is Linda, and I'm looking for a sanity-saving way to spend our weekend mornings. Our son (nearly 2) wakes up at 7, and naps after lunch. After being in daycare all week, he's used to having some play activities, and my husband and I struggle to 'entertain' him. We do like to go to the market Saturday mornings, but Sundays seem to be more of a challenge. We moved to Kitchener from ...

We haven't done anything. I'm still trying to get my 3 year old involved in something lol. Maybe sports when he's a little older. We were part of playgroup back in San Diego but he was only 8 months when we left and just crawling.

Kendra writes in: My husband and I are expecting our first child in February. Currently, we’re in great financial shape: we’ve been saving our money quite diligently over the last few years, bought a house with a large down payment, and have a large emergency fund and several CDs. Given that and given the desire we both have to homeschool our children, I’ve made the decision with the full ...

Kalee isn't in any classes. But we do go to the Library every Saturday for Toddler Time. It's story time with books and activities for toddlers. I thought about taking her to a Mommy/Baby swim class but I'm not sure... mainly b/c I don't know how to swim.

Is there a location to find all the children's activities at the different resorts? Anyone know of some good activities for toddlers (3 years old)? We just booked a week at POR & I know we'll need some other activities to fill all that time. Thanks!
