I would like to learn more about photographing homes and architecture. Not that I am a "pro" by any means but I would like to see pro work and read more about home photography techniques. Any guidance / tips would be very helpful. It's been hard for me to find more info on this by searching the web so if you can point me to any good websites that would be helpful too. Any good books? --...

Will be visiting Barcelona in January - I'll have my D3 with me and was planning on spending some time wandering around and photographing the great buildings and architecture there. I've heard some horror stories of gangs of thieves, bag/camera snatching, muggings etc particularly on La Rambla. Has anyone had any experience of walking the streets of Barcelona with a fairly expensive camera/lens ...

Rockwell sure does tiptoe around 4/3, doesn't he? (Except to link to dealer pages.) I can understand ignoring them a few years back, but no longer. Except for the extra stop and bigger image circle the 14-24 seems quite on par with the 7-14, but not superior in the least. (BTW, what's "Nano Crystal Coat"?) Nice work with your new lens! I just got mine, so am learning...slowly --Rick...

Thanks Kenton! it took some time to get used to it. It took some effort to find a subject worth photographing, getting the available light right, and composing the shot (especially interior architecture ones). I got some tips here: http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/how-...ide-lenses. htm Ken rockwell keeps bragging about the nikon 14-24 2.8 on the D3. http://www.kenrockwell.com/...

Hi guys,             I will cut right to the chase with my background and the purchasing matter I am facing at the moment.      I used to own Nikon gear (D50, 16-85, 70-300, 18-55, 50 1.8, SB-600, etc.). I felt well ready for a body upgrade but always have trouble making decisions on the right body. This past September I joined the U.S. Border Patrol and moved down to Artesia, NM for my ...
