'Cause I was researching it ...

Use Moisture Resistant plasterboard in bathrooms. In wet areas inside shower & around baths, tank it before tiling or use tile backer boards. Use a good quality trade flexible adhesive and grout. Use full size boards too. __________________ Dum Spiro Spero

Thanks Spr0cket, sound advice which tallies with the research I have done so far. Don't really want to hack off up to a metre and start again, but I know it's time and money down the pan if I take a chance, do a localised repair and it leaks further up the wall. I'm certain that the problem has arisen due a faulty seal around the trim as the plasterboard was only really wet in the corners and ...

Am confused by so much conflicting advice info about what needs to be done first to tile onto moisture resistant plasterboard. Completely refitting bathroom. Internal partition walls are new moisture resistant plasterboard (being replacements for ruined old stramut strawboard walls) Can i tile straight onto these, or do I need to apply pva first etc. Thanks
