However, it's a challenge to stop eating lately! Even when my stomach is full, my eyes/mouth are hungry! After being really ill the first trimester, it's a relief to eat, but a constant struggle to keep from going overboard! LOL. I was just like you. First trimester, I had some nauseau which decreased my appetite. I didn't gain a single pound. Then week 14, magically the nauseau ...

For the past 6 weeks or so I have had numbness in the sides of my legs. Sitting, standing, lying, doesn't matter they can get numb and cold anytime. The perinatologist says its a paralysis of the nerve that innervates the skin on my legs, common w position of babies and weight gain. Has anyone experienced this? Okay the burning is inside. Never associated with my urine (which is not ...

IATROGENIC DEATHS, DISEASES AND INJURIES During a monthlong strike by Los Angeles County physicians in 1976, the mortality rate for patients dropped by 18 percent. According to a speech of Bill Clinton, there were 1 million iatrogenic incidents annually in the US. Others say 1.5 million or more. America receives less value for its health care dollar than any other country, and is as high as...

I would order the size 8. I know that after I had my daughter, I never was able to wear my pre-pregnancy size again. It has been a year and a half and I actually weigh more than when I was 9 months pregnant. I can tell you that many people don't put a lot of weight on until the third trimester. I didn't even start showing until I was at least 6 months pregnant! THe average pregancy weight ...

I still have an appetite and have gained a bit of weight but in the third trimester, I can eat less at once but probably eat more often. Sometimes I am so hungry but as soon as I have a few bites, I feel full because as the baby grows, there is a lot less room in my stomach.

at 18 weeks, i had only gained 2 pounds. i was regular weight to begin with, and my doctor told me that ideally, they like normal weight women to gain 20-25 lbs because it means that they took in enough calories for the baby. but he told me the numbers really don't mean a whole lot, and just because the numbers aren't going up, it doesn't mean your baby wont be healthy and a good weight. everyone...

it's so validating for me to read this post. at 5 weeks pp i made the same decision, that i could not continue the insanity of attempting to nurse / actually nursing (on occasion) for long stretches of time / bottle feeding supplement / pumping / cleaning pump materials / sterilizing. my entire life revolved around feeding. i never yielded more than 4oz in 24hrs, despite pumping like mad....

Though the IUD is copper and therefore touted as hormone free what one may need to know is that copper and estrogen mimic one another in the body. This means if estrogen goes up so does copper. If copper rises so does estrogen. Zinc on the other hand is closely related to progesterone. The copper IUD is leaking a constant dose of copper into your body. That is alot of copper and estrogen for the ...

I am not worrying about my weight gain (I've gained 22 pounds so far). It comes in fast in the second trimester, but by the third there is not much room to add many more (except for Baby). With ds I gained 34 and the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy I dropped 3 one week, gained it back the next and kept like that for the next 2. I dropped 15 pounds right after ds...

I hadn't gained any weight by 23 weeks. Or to be more accurate, I'd gained and then lost 5 pounds by 23 weeks. Weight tracking is not considered as critical as it used to be in pregnancy as there are such huge variations between different women, age groups, backgrounds, etc. The majority of weight gain occurs in the third trimester. Keep this in mind, and if you're still worried try to eat a ...
