I've been meaning to post my story on here since I know reading these really made me feel like there was light at the end of the tunnel. This is going to be uber long, so if you just want to get to the happy part, it's at the end. -DH and I got pregnant unexpectedly the first time. The biggest shock to both of us was that we were excited. I was on the fence about wanting kids at all. I...

Hey Peek,  I just newly moved over here too.  I'm now 12w2d preggo with our third.  I haven't had a chance to let Andi know yet, so if you chat with her let her know Cherie is expecting again and I'm betting it's another boy so I'll end up with 3 boys just like her! :)  It's a bummer getting older though, as since I'll be 36 by the time I'm due (May 29, 2009), I've now got the "Advanced Maternal ...

Weeks 1-4 Yes, I knew. I knew the morning after. I usually wake up to extreme disorientation but that morning I woke up and I ... just knew. But that's a silly thing to just "know," right? So I brushed that feeling off for a couple of weeks. Then Monday, March 27, I had some implantation bleeding. Ofcourse at first I thought it must be my period. But after that day I had no more ...

Hello ladies, You are all so supportive so I thought I would share my story with the hopes that others have similar stories and are now in their second and third trimester. At 14 dpo on Wednesday, I got blood work and had very low numbers.  HCG 20, progesterone 8.3.  Then on Friday I started to spot a bit and am still spotting today.  Brownish-red, enough to stain a pad but not anything ...

Unless you are spotting, you're fine going after it. In my case I realized I love being with my DH even more than pre-pg, so I "go after him" every time he walks by (and he walks by a lot). About the big O, you can go for it with no problems. (The only contraction issues you may have are in late third trimester. Otherwise all you do is increase bloodflow to your uterus, which isn't a bad ...

What are my chances of having another miscarriage? Many couples who experience a miscarriage worry that it will happen again. Fortunately, at least 85% of women who have had one loss will go on to have a successful pregnancy the next time, as will 75% of those who have experienced two or three losses.   I’m afraid to bond with my baby for fear that I might have another m/c....

Alright, this is slightly OT, but I've never heard of having a rhogam shot during the first trimester. Does the baby even have it's own blood yet? I've had lots of spotting during my pregnancies, and a Rhogam shot has never even been brought up until the third trimester.

Pregnancy Questions & Concerns
Started 1 day, 15 hours ago (2008-11-17 17:17:00)  by scigeek
I had some minor spotting and blood clots in my first trimester, the 12 week ultrasound showed a small subchorinic hemmorhage. I was put on restrictions, no lifting, no strenuous exercise, no intercourse. The last ultrasound, 16 weeks, showed the blood was still there but shrinking. I am still on restrictions. They still want to watch it, so we have another ultrasound at 20 weeks. Hopefully it ...

They think what caused the problems was due to a polyp they found at week 9. They thought it would be nothing until the spotting turned into heavy bleeding. They then removed the polyp and I had a cerlogae (not sure of spelling). I continuted to bleed after that. The blood caused contraction at week 21. They were able to stop them, until the day before week 23. After 16 hours of ...

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to say Hello and give you a quick update. I am in my 11th week right now and can't wait to be done with the first trimester :)! (But, I am trying to enjoy everyday too). My boobs have been sore, I am tired all the time, I have already gained a few pounds and I feel like I could get sick every night after 7:30pm :) So, I think I still have most of the symptoms!...

My DH works for the state of Georgia, and we have Kaiser Permanente for our health insurance. In our paperwork, it clearly states that the first prenatal visit has a copay of $15, and everything after that is free. I had one appt at 4 weeks due to spotting and I paid the $15 copay then. I had more spotting this week and went in again (6 weeks 3 days). The receptionist tried to charge me another $...
