I've been meaning to post my story on here since I know reading these really made me feel like there was light at the end of the tunnel. This is going to be uber long, so if you just want to get to the happy part, it's at the end. -DH and I got pregnant unexpectedly the first time. The biggest shock to both of us was that we were excited. I was on the fence about wanting kids at all. I...

Thank you for the info. I knew about all those myths though. And, I'm kind of somewhere in between really liking it and not wanting it at all. I have always had a very high sex drive but with pregnancy, this had decreased a lot. I usually want to have sex once a day. Sometimes, I'd rather just masturbate as aposed to actually having sex. This is probably because I usually just use clitorial ...

Hey Peek, I just newly moved over here too. I'm now 12w2d preggo with our third. I haven't had a chance to let Andi know yet, so if you chat with her let her know Cherie is expecting again and I'm betting it's another boy so I'll end up with 3 boys just like her! :) It's a bummer getting older though, as since I'll be 36 by the time I'm due ( May 29, 2009), I've now got the "Advanced Maternal ...

IATROGENIC DEATHS, DISEASES AND INJURIES During a monthlong strike by Los Angeles County physicians in 1976, the mortality rate for patients dropped by 18 percent. According to a speech of Bill Clinton, there were 1 million iatrogenic incidents annually in the US. Others say 1.5 million or more. America receives less value for its health care dollar than any other country, and is as high as...

Hi Ainara If you recall, I wrote a while back that I was bleeding - really bleeding, period like for 2 days (I think I was 8 or 9 weeks pregnant). I went to the hospital and I was told that I miscarried one of the babies. This was my last message posted on this forum. Much to my surprise at my next U/S the 12 week one - both babies were there doing just fine!!! I was told that I still...

Replying to: emotional and anxious (pos trigs) (((HUGS))) Sarah!!! Even though I haven't been through all that you have been, I can understand in some ways. It took us eight years to get pregnant and it's been a roller coaster ride ever since. At the first ultrasound, they couldn't find the baby and told me I had miscarried. Then I had placenta previa with horrible bleeding and ...

They think what caused the problems was due to a polyp they found at week 9. They thought it would be nothing until the spotting turned into heavy bleeding. They then removed the polyp and I had a cerlogae (not sure of spelling). I continuted to bleed after that. The blood caused contraction at week 21. They were able to stop them, until the day before week 23. After 16 hours of ...

As your pregnancy progresses, your baby may begin to seem more real. You may hear the heartbeat at your prenatal appointments, and your enlarging abdomen may force your favorite jeans to the back of the closet. While you're adjusting to the changes in your body, fetal development takes on new meaning. Two months ago, your baby was simply a cluster of cells. Now he or she has functioning ...

CONGRATS on making it to 12 weeks! Thats such a great milestone! Yes, its perfectly normal to have cramps just about anytime during your pregnancy. As long as they arent incredibly intense and there is not bleeding, do your best not to worry. You can pick 12 or 13 weeks to "officially" transition into the 2t, but i | |
