Not_Your_Friend wrote: Thank you, sir. Subject to change, it looks like this may be the odd Avenger title out for me, post-SI. I've got to trim down. The only one I'm really interested in here is Hawkeye, but there are very few characters that can alone compel me to pick up a team book when I'm indifferent to the rest of the roster. Now far be it from me...

My father was an orphaned, Mid-west farmer; my mother an Italian imigrant. I grew up in a frugal home, but didn't know it. + When we go grocery shopping we re-use paper bags. We get a five cent credit for each bag. + I bike to work instead of drive. + I pack my own lunch every day; I don't use any bags - tupperware. + I hunt for the majority of my meat; I re-load my own shells. + ...

Trig myself... Though I have rarely come to requiring anything past maybe basic algebra. Let's face it. My day job doesn't require much math beyond counting change and maybe estimating tax. And writing music isn't exactly structural engineering requiring me to figure out the unknowns of triangles. And in high school, when I took this math, I couldn't really wrap my head around things...

(Greg Klee/Globe Staff Illustration) By Drake Bennett November 16, 2008 OVER THE PAST few months, Americans have been hearing the word "depression" with unfamiliar and alarming regularity. A rat can last longer without water than a camel. Your stomach has to produce a new layer of mucus every two weeks, otherwise it will digest itself. The Declaration of Independence (the very official copy in the Rotunda of the National Archives) is written on parchment, not paper. The dot over the letter 'i' is called a tittle. A raisin dropped in a fresh glass of soda will bounce up ...
