I find that the Yellow Pages can be a source of character names, such as "Cinae Exodus". Also, foriegn language dictionaries, such as a Dutch-English one have a lot of words that aren't going to spark the "Name already taken" popup. If those don't work, I heartily recommend a Thesaurus, your Dictionary's underestimated brother. -------------------- I can take the heat 'cus I'm the ...

This package is written for Windows and works correctly when installed in an XP PC. The installation steps in Ubuntu were as follows : 1. Extract the .zip file that the package downloads in. 2. Right ...

So I am a law student in my first year, and I take my constitutional law final in a month. Not licensed to practice law (yet), so you wouldn't want me to draft your will, but con law I know. We read the entire Heller decision. I asked my professor (Steven Schnably, Esq.http://osaka.law.miami.edu/~schnably/courses.h tml) what he thought that meant for a new Assault Weapons Ban. I used to romanticize about the idea of reading dictionaries for pleasure. But now, in my opinion, I think it wouldn't be very productive. As soon as you read a definition, you'll most likely forget it. What would be better is to simply read anything else, and to use your dictionary when you come across not only words you don't know, but words you wouldn't feel confident enough using in a ...

phlogiston ... I think I remember that from one of my classes last year ... uh ... *thinking gears go into motion* Pretty sure that's the hypothesis of fire as a physical substance as opposed to an energy, right? Or are we just using it as a 'omg don't throw the fireball spell!!' thingie? Yeah, I'm a lot of help ( winks in double sarcasm) Quote: ...

Mine:- A Rhymionry This serves a similar purpose to a dictionary, encyclopedia or a thesaurus. However with an added twist. When you look up a word... it doesnt tell you the meaning, translation or similar ...
