Quote from: yorkykopite on November 14, 2008, 05:01:26 PM I think so too. just realised i'd not responded to this dude - top quality as ever... Quote from: blurred, please on November 30, 2007, 02:15:22 PM Footballs a funny old game, as the saying goes. You never can be sure of exactly whats around the corner. Hardly anyone would have given a chance to Bolton of coming away with anything ahead of their recent trip to the Allianz Arena, and again the football world was ready to watch Manchester United claim another 3 ...

Thanks Socrates for an intelligent reply and the link to the excellent discussion from RAWK's He'sBigHe' sRed (which I'm going to post in full below). Actually, the comments about the importance of controlling space and playing between the lines dovetail precisely with my initial observations. Spurs' closing down stopped us doing both- which is why we didn't control the game after the ...

but I do recall seeing him taking quite a few dives last season and getting Man U penalties they really shouldn't have got Damn, I really hate people constantly trying to undermine his achievements. There has been much discussion on this board and others as to the set-up of the current Hibs team, Mixu's tactical awareness, and the fact that we currently seem to be unable to get the best out of the players we have. I think Mixu will still be Hibs manager for the forseeable future, and we have to hope that he can eventually gets a strong Hibs team on the park which can start to win more games ...
